I need a crankcase stud for my CL77. The ones that hold the cylinders and head to the case. It's one of the center ones.

Have you checked for a blockage in the tank, petcock or fuel lines?

That could cause a lean condition with either set of carbs.

My local Honda dealer, MotorCity PowerSports, actually had the studs and the nuts.

That was a nice surprise!

$4.20 for a set of 4.

There is a Honda dealer about 10 miles from here.

Those extended nuts are a great idea,
but are a bit beyond my machining skills.

Its been so long since my dealer had anything I wanted, that I just quit asking.
Thanks, I'll give them a try.

When I removed the exhaust pipes on my '66 CL77, to clean and shine, the studs came out with the nuts.
They are fused together. Not really a surprise after 42 years of HEAT!
So, does anyone know a source for NEW exhaust pipe STUDS and NUTS?
