1967 cl77 FLOAT BOWELS.
I took off float bowels and cleaned them out. When I replaced them the leaked like crazy. The seals are OK but gas is pouring out of area of contact, float bowel to carb. I noticed the bowels are numbered 2-1 and 2-2 on the inside. Are they not interchangeable left to rt? If so which is which? The ...

thanks , I appreciate the feedback. Both cross drills were completely gummed up so I cleaned them out. Now to see if they leak. might need new gaskets, these are only 52 yr old. Ha HA
