The air filter is a K&n and a new bubber tube is attached to it. I had mice make a home in the old stock air filter when it was sitting out in the shed. Now it does not get stored there.

I will take appart the carb asap.

Ryan-One other tidbit.You said you had to turn the idle screw way out to slow down idle.You are aware there is an adjustment up where the cable goes thru the frame right? Ok, new plugs will be ordered and i will check the points and decrease the gap. i"m not sure what you mean by "F" i have a line engraved in the shaft on the end but i see no letter "f" on it.

Well i just pulled the plug on the right side. Black, Way more carbon then the plugs i just pulled.

I will have to get the NKG's, but i'm not sure if that will help much. Also i read to gap them at .018" My spark plug gaper wouldn't go downt that much so just hit them on the ground till a feller ...

Ok, Well I changed the plugs with auto lights, wow what a difference. The fouled plugs were defiantly killing me. Only problem is with the idle screw 1 turn out it idled way to fast. I had to turn it out probably 6 times before it held a slow enough idle. I know turning it out this far is not good ...

I have not rebuilt the carb. I Payed a shop to clean it and get it to idle right. I've had tons of problems ever since i did that. There is deffinatly fuel leakage.

Do you think you could give me a brake down of what i need to to do take appart the carb and check/ rebuild? I'm going to try new ...
