My wife and I bought a CA77 and I think it needs some clutch work. So I opened it up and removed the oil spinner to clean it out while I'm in there and find this... Is this normal?

Sorry. Had to re-size the image.

Behind/below the oil spinner is this nest of safety wire holding the spring seat pivot bolt in place. I'm concerned about what I might find if I if I remove it. I can get a replacement bolt if the bolt is no good. I'm inclined to leave it alone until I split the cases later.

Thoughts?

I believe what is shown in the picture is an example of saftey wiring the safety wire that saftey wires the safety wire.

It's known very safe.

All seriousness aside... That's just supposed to be an M6 bolt with a washer and spacer. I would untangle that mess and put it together the right way. That part keeps your $200 primary chain from flapping around.
