I want to get it completely warmed up so I can reset the valves and get the carbs just right.. I followed Ed's recipe on tuning. I wish I understood how to set my idle mix screws a little better. Ed says, if I remember correctly, to bottom them then back off one turn but no more than one and a half. I set mine at one and a quarter. I synced the slides, including properly adjusting the cables so the slides lift at exactly the same time. Both pipes warm at the same rate. It will idle at 600 to 800 if it's warmed up. I still need the steering damper and to adjust the brakes. I am sure there will be a lot of little things that will need adjusted over the first couple outings. The motor sounds a lot better in person than my tinny phone can capture. Here is a picture and a video.
