Nice stash of parts there! I had to buy a pile of stuff last year just to get 3 nice CB72 engines. Luckily I was able to sell the parts I didn't need so, in the end, the motors cost me nothing......

Well yes I did solve it and it works great! My solution was to convert the tank to a CB350 cap with a filler neck that extends above the tank and down into the tank. No more worries and it looks bee-yoo-ti-full! At least I think so, that is.

I tried the glue method, the painting up to the cap method, and the not painting up to the cap method, and eventually the paint peeled with each method. My CB350 cap conversion is the only one that's worked for me.

BTW do you think your bike will hit 91mph?

Mine has a full 350 kit so it just might....... Do you think that he was wearing that kit when it did 90? If so it would have done over 100mph with a slim Japanese rider on it....

Vince and G-Man, they even tell you that he was 13 1/2 stone and wearing a two piece suit and overboots, I wonder if he was lying flat along the tank and seat Rollie Free style, as recommended in Hondas CB92 ? owners manual for top speed. This was obviously back when men were men and health and safety was not invented of course.
