Painted & Rebuilt the carbs
Sandblasted, and refinished the kickstart cover as well as the right side starter cover.
Refinished the footpegs in gloss black.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to two tone the engine. Bottom gloss black with polished fins.
I'm sure you guys have seen this bike, but I love it. I love the motor and front wheels. Where can I find them?

Condition of my current exhaust.
My debate now.
Rechrome? 125 + shipping so prob 225ish
Thai replicas ?
Or Emgo dunstalls?

A member here owns that bike you show in a picture. I am sure he will chime in.
$125 is dirt cheap for a re-chrome of the mufflers. Its hard to find anywhere that will actually replate mufflers. Where is it?

This is the quote I was given from CCI "
http://classiccomponents.com
I opened a wholesale account with them. They told me to remove the baffles from inside the muffler, and they can rechrome them.
I'm going to have them do both mufflers, exhaust pipes and collars.

Never seen carbs painted before. They do look nice, though.

I ultrasonic the carbs, take them apart, repeat the process. Then dip them in hot boiling water... After I'm done with that, I clean them up with some baking soda, using a make shift soda blaster.
Then I rebuild, and then put a light coat on them. I've done this for prob 5 or 6 of my current motorcycles and I've never had a problem with peeling paint, bubbling etc.
Trying to find an afford CYP seat, but in the mean time I'm eyeballing this seat.

My seats perfectly fine, just maybe looking for something different.[/list]

This was posted by someone previously. I have not tried personally. Perhaps someone else can provide input to the overall quality.
