I had used it back in the late 7's when I was rebuilding a 1946 airplane but hadn't seen it in decades so I thought the environmentalists got it - they seem to get all the good products banned.

After 4 days of hard work and chemical stripper and a few days getting set up for media blasting, everything was moved back to the workshop.
The basting with recycled glass worked great! It only took about 2 hours to clean up all the corners and crevasses and move on to the self-etching primer.
Now it is on to the base coat for the candy paint.

I am starting with a silver sealer over the primer, then metallic white - this will be the background colour for lace. After applying the lace, I switch to a medium aluminum coat as the foreground. After that, I spray candy purple and finish with clear-coat.
