Got back into the shop today and got the lace plus colour coat done for the 1967 Honda Dream. It came out okay. Just clear coat left to do before putting it back together.

Got 3 coats of clear on this a.m. and it sure brought the colour out! A bit of polish and its ready to go back together.

Good eye there Revolver! ;)

Under the plastic is a 1965 Honda CB160 that I just picked up a week ago. It is in rough shape though and may get resurrected just as a fun ride.

Started to polish the new paint on the '67 Dream and realized I can't do a high quality paint job 'cause my shop isn't clean enough - I have fine dust in my paint! Polishing just made it more obvious so I just switched to waxing and started to re-assemble the bike. I don't have the time or the inclination to start all over again. Oh well, at least I know better for next time - no more fancy paint without a proper spray booth!

Not really possible in a Canadian winter but I do all of my paint outside. You still get toubled by inquisitive bugs but much better than stirring up dust inside. Using a small HVLP gun means less air and more paint so you don't stir up the air (dust) as much....
