Glad that worked. Your resto looks like it's coming along well. My CB77 is still in the depressing stage. The motor has been out in the rain for years so I'm having a lot of trouble freeing a pair of severely rusted piston's / barrels.The pits in the barrel on one side look to be 2-3mm deep.

Coils aren't handed Maia, but ensure that, upon reconnection, you get the pos & neg right; +ve is ign supply (black) and -ve is from the condenser/contact sets.

Paint is done and I'm letting it harden for a month before it goes on. Starting to clean up electrical components and reinstall them. Chrome work should be back soon, expensive! but has to be done. More pics to come.

Looks like you have it going right along, looking good!

Not to steal a thread but, loud mouse, do you have pics of your all-thread sander?

I'm getting ready to do the wheels for this project and have a spoke kit that looks pretty good and correct. The original rims are another story...they are original but in need of re-chroming and judging from my latest quote on re-chroming tank side covers I'm thinking of new rims. I know there have been some posts in the past on this subject but was wondering if anyone has had recent experience with the ebay stuff. Most of it seems to come from Thailand but there are a set of DID's from Japan for $149 which is less than re-chroming. Thanks
