JIS is a big help but not on screws that are already mangled beyond use.

Those wheel rims make me sad.

I'd feel better if you let me donate my old rims to your project. I just replaced ours with new stainless steel rims from the UK. I was thinking of putting the old ones up for auction, but you can have them for free. They're not show quality, but they are true and fairly clean looking, compared to your existing ones. I also have the spokes and nipples that went with them if you'd like those too.

Awesome Bob! Thank you. I appreciate any help I can get. Did you end up replacing your wiring harness? The deeper I get in the more wiring issues I find. I'm not asking you for your old one, I just remember reading in your thread that you were considering ordering a new one. Was wondering how that worked out for you, in case I need to do the same.

I did not get a new one. I've cleaned up my existing one and will use that. It was working fine before I took everything apart. I'll revisit getting a new one if I ever start having bad electrical issues...

The 26 year old oil has turned to sludge.


The gunk that came out of the clutch cover.

Pulled the exhaust and chain cover. Received new points, condenser and plugs. Next up is dropping the motor. How much does the motor weigh?

Trying to source some fuel lines. I read a post here where a member was able to find some lines at his local Honda store, I wasn't so lucky. Any suggestions for lines?

Lowes, or a lawn mower repair shops, best to have your petcock or carb to compare for fit.
