Well, I have the seat done now too, putting that trim piece on and getting those little bolts thru the new cover was not an easy task but it is done nonetheless.
does this look correct for the installation of the tranny and crank? I followed Silver. I just want to make sure I am not missing anything on the tranny especially---wondering if the shift forks have to be in a certain place and what sprockets need to be together or apart or ?
It looks just fine from my perspective. It doesn't matter what gear it's in when you assemble it - you can find neutral easily enough when you put the lower case and shift mechanism back on. Be careful you get the dowel pins on the bearings oriented correctly before you put the bottom case on (ask me how I know that)!
yeah, I know to get the pins lined up with the bearings because whoever had this bike before me didn't do that and I had to fix one of the holes---it was cracked pretty badly. Did this happen to you as well?
