Spent my lunch break in the sun figuring out the front end. The necks are the same dimensions for the bearing races, cups, etc. The main problem was the lower fork lock tab welded to the hawk frame, and the taper of at the top of the neck. First I cut off the tab, then I flared the dust shield to fit the taper. Voila, it fits! Looks pretty good if I say so myself.

Neck taper for both top and bottom as well as the fork lock tab shown here on the hawk frame.

Notice the square edges and tiny fork lock tab on the scrambler frame.

Fork lock cut.

Trees bolted on now. I still want to cut the lock off the lower tree, but didn't have time to do so yet.

Fork tubes in place. I still can't believe how nice these are.

Made a quick roller yesterday with a 19" cl350 front wheel and a 19" rear cl77 wheel. The rear looks huge at the moment, but I think once an 18" is back there it should balance back out.

Had to do a quick photoshop to see what direction I want to go for the tail. I'll probably spend all day obsessing over this now.

Messing around some more in photoshop. I will probably fab up my own kickstand soon so I don't have to prop it up against stuff or have it sitting on the jack to keep from falling over. I think I can get a cl/cb350 one to work, just need to make a beefy bolt on mount.

I like the 19" rear wheel, gives it an old time Brit bike look. Well suited for a cafe bike.

I just worry it's going to look like a DONK with the wheels that large. We'll see how it pans out. As of right now I've put the brakes on this project until I finish some other higher priority bike stuff.
