I put the pin back in the same way I took it out. When I saw your post I checked CMSNL. here what they show.

I know Blast Cabinets have been around a long time but I've only had mine a few months and I still can't get over how quickly I can clean parts. Here is a video of media blasting the tail light bracket with aluminum oxide at 110 psi. It went from dirty and rusty to slick as a whistle in less than 5 minutes.

I've never had good luck buying from Thailand so I figured why stop now? I bought this and it will probably take a month to get here. I am hopeful I won't have to paint it.

I bought a NOS light switch knob a while back, the old one was cracked. It didn't come with the set screw and I didn't want to use the old rounded out one so I ordered a new one yesterday.

The old Neutral Light boot was hard as a rock so I ordered a reproduction copy.

The factory method for installing the swing arm bolt is from the right side as Sara noted earlier. You can't rely on parts diagrams for accuracy. The factory owners manual shows the right side insertion. This also is supported by the dealer set up manual for dealer assembly from the crate as well as period magazine advertisements.

I've just got my pipes lined up the way I want them so I might leave the pin the way it is for now. I appreciate everyones help along the way.
I bought a speedo/tach that was supposedly serviced and reset to zero. I don't know how long ago the servicing was but it shows 400 miles now and there is evidence of little pry marks where the chrome bezel was removed. Should I put a little lube in the cable receivers?

Steve,

I can't blame you for wanting to leave it alone after this many goes. If you look at your pics on page one and two of your thread before disassembly you'll see it was installed from the right side with the lock nut on the left. Bike is looking sharp.

I switched it this afternoon. I also noticed in the picture that the rear axle was pointed the wrong way.

The pipes for my CBX project showed up yesterday. David Silver Spares wouldn't tell me who made them but they did tell me they weren't made by Delkevic or Sankei. They promised me that they would look identical to the Sankeis. Sankei was the oem for the CBX. They were right, they are the most perfect reproductions I've ever seen and they are double walled. So I wonder why DSS can't get double walled pipes for the CB77?

Things are getting out of hand as how parts were installed by HONDA.
This is important as the subject is viewed by the entire forum.
Also I want to help you with the Kick Lever of your bike.
