I've sent you a PM, G.

Just let me know whether it's narrow or wide and what the wheel diameter might be...

If you could find a good Kawasaki cam guide wheel - we could do you one of these........
The supply seems to have dried up a little.

There’s a thought. Thanks, G. I’ll see what I can find.

I took a break from spending money on parts today to clean out the lower crankcase, which was pretty filthy. In the muck, I found a sheared off gear dog, which made me give the transmisson shafts a closer look. I already knew that 1st on the secondary shaft was bad, but only because the kick start teeth were worn. Sure enough, I found that 1st & 3rd on the primary and 3rd on the secondary shafts were missing half of their dogs. Where the other broken dogs disappeared to, I do not know, but now 4 new gears are needed. A bit disappointing, but certainly not the end of the world. It really wouldn't be half so fun if everything was easy.

I like the engine stand John, I was too lazy and just used two blocks of wood. If I have to pull the engine apart again I'll make a stand similar to yours.

Hi Seadog
The sliding gears had six engaging dogs while the fixed gears had three. Is that what you are seeing?
