Got some from classic Honda resto.
Dunno if they fit.
Will bend if needed.

I was under the impression that hardened steel springs don't take real kindly to attempts to bend them. Good luck.

Wow. I just read that whole thread and found it about the most interesting read of any so far. Even the part where Ed and Teazer almost come to blows!
I will offer a suggestion, though. As part of membership here we should all agree to buy a digital camera and use it! Too many words. Not enough PICTURES!!!!! Springs, weights, bosses, rivets, neoprene, braize, weld, advance, retard, marks, loose, play, slop, gap,... PICTURES!!!

As I recall we had some great discussions and we both offered the list more than one way to do things and become/stay friends.

Bending report:
Tried some bending with the spares, and it look like you can unbend the hook once, and rebend it to a tighter hook.
But only once.
When I tried unbending a second time, they snapped on rebending.
Looks like the metal will only tolerate one bend.
