The front tire is a Yokohama Speed Master 3.25 and the rear is a Cheng Ching (sp?) 3.50. Yes, now that I've had a closer look they look a bit too large. I'm a little surprised the original owner wore out two rear tires in 4500 miles.

You will get a better clue on the mileage when you look inside the engine. If it is on standard bore the mileage could be correct. If it has been bored I would suspect that the speedo has been replaced at some time.

After 40 years it is difficult to determine the history. Almost anything, including the wheels, could have been replaced.

I am nearing completion on Jimmy's Scrambler. By far, the most challenging part of the refurb was getting an acceptable paint finish. I finally found Duplicolor Acrylic Lacquer Base and Clear. It turned out great and looks as close to Factory as anything I've seen. I just have to finish the carbs and I will be able to give him his bike back and then I can get started on my CB77. When I got the SuperHawk it was missing the side covers and the crankcase cover. Here is a pic with replacements installed. I was surprised at the color when the side cover showed up. I thought they were all silver.
