Very much aftermarket.

Single wire bullet blinkers and add on handlebar switch available from most custom shops.

Used a standard $3 autoparts store relay, and an inline fuse.

The wiring is simple, and I can post that too.

Relay: Any auto parts Two prong, round.

One small roll of 16 black wire.

Two steel three inch plates with two holes each. Home Depot or Lowes, find the round metal securing U clamps and use the plate the forms the bottom of the clamp. Like $3 a piece.

Mount the back signals to one end of the plates, put the other hole between your seat bolt and the seat, and you are mounted.

Front blinkers secure the headlight cup instead of the standard bolts.

Thats it except the wiring, which is pretty basic.

Did the same thing on my 160.

I will post some pictures this week.

Well, a ride on my old CB160 tonight revealed what I didnt want to face: The 305 is running really poor below 3500, and I don't think its the mix.

The 160 could blow the 305 away off the line - unless you rev up the engine to 4000 before releasing the clutch.

I think those damn springs are just too tight, and I need to pull the engine again and try again.

I wonder how many times it will take before I get the tension right.

There has got to be some aftermarket source for proper springs for this thing.

At least I know exactly how to pull it and reinstall it now.

Classic Honda Resto springs are not correct size. That's what I was ready to install, and they are too loose.

Started in on second round of engine pull #2.

Gonna get a exact reading of spring length when too long, as i had then (too short), and what I am going to reinstall.

If I do this, and it runs right, we will have an actual spec on the proper length of the spring.

If I can contribute that, I might start to feel ok about all the time people have spent helping me so far.

My CB160 will pull any 305 off the line. don't use that as your standard. well--- my 160 is a bit kitted--- but still ----they pull amazingly strong.
