I'm almost ready to fire up (he said with newbie optimism) my 68 305 CA77. After setting for 20+ years the engine still turns over. Cam tensioner bolt - busted!

The cam tensioner bolt broke while trying to loosen it (hey, my first one, not too bad). I can use an extractor, but want to make sure nothing serious happens if I completely remove the bolt. Any thoughts?

I've seen the electrolysis rusty tank process on a few sites, but found this one on a Yamaha 650 site (sorry).
