Hi guys, I've just bought a set of spark plug caps for my CB77 off ebay. They are the ones currently doing the rounds with the Hm logo on the top. thing is I can't seem to find a way of fitting them on, as there are no inbuilt threaded screws to screw into the inner copper core of the HT lead as on ...

transmission shims

Hi Guys, I've had the transmission shafts out of my '64 CB77 to replace some gear cotters and came across these two very thin washers/ shims. I never noticed them before until I was reassembling the mainshaft. Any idea where they should go ? thanks Ken.

I am about to replace the springs on the advance/retard unit on the camshaft sprocket on my '64 CB77. What's the correct way of fitting them without spraining them?...thanks

OVERHEATING

HI DAVOMOTOR, THE R/HAND CYLINDER SPARK PLUG SOOTS UP REALLY BAD, EVEN WITH A BRAND NEW ONE FITTED ( NGK D8HS ) AFTER ONLY A FEW SECONDS OF RUNNING. I'VE NEVER KNOWN ONE TO SOOT UP THIS QUICK. HI, I BOUGHT BILL SILVERS ENGINE REPAIR & RESTORATION MANUALS & DID EXACTLY WHAT IT SAID IN THE BOOK. THE STANDARD BORES SHOWED NO OBVIOUS SIGNS OF WEAR, SO I JUST REPLACED THE PISTON RINGS & I PUT NEW CAMSHAFT BEARINGS IN WHILE I WAS AT IT. I BOUGHT 2 KEYSTER CARB KITS, BUT THE BIKE WAS RUNNING TOO...

overheating

my 1964 cb77 is overheating on the right hand cylinder aftera rebuild, what can this be? The engine was in bits when I bought the bike.
