Thanks. I know it lists a 8 washer and 10 bolt so something is obviously listed wrong. I'll see what I have in my bolt bag for 8X16 ish.
I appreciate you guys answering the easy questions that keep me moving forward.

What size is this bolt supposed to be?

Item #22, my parts book says 10X36. The hole in the frame is an 8mm tap so that can't be right and 36mm long seems way to long to hold on this little bracket.

Steering stem lower nut (how tight)

Is there a torque spec for the steering stem but that goes under the top triple tree, the one with the notches. Too tight and it doesn't turn very easy but I don't want it to be too loose either. Any helpful input would be appreciated.

Re: Bottom Bearing

You have't driven the lower outer race far enough into the frame. Looks to be about 3 - 5mm short of where it should be. Use a soft, aluminium, copper or brass drift and work your way round the bearing, keep going until it won't go in any further. You'll know when it's right as the noise will chang...

This ain't right

I used the 3mm spacer under the bottom seal as suggested. When I assemble I don't have any of the threads on top for the first nut. Even if i removed the 3mm spacer i still wouldn't have any threads showing. Should the bottom race press in father? Brian https://s19.postimg.org/ycy9894e7/20180118_190...

Does this look right, bottom flush, top sticking out. Both seem to be pressed in as far as they can go.
