thank you. now to see if i win.... i never win. i swear people use a program that puts in their bid in at the last second rather than automatically upping it to their max. because every time i loose its a dollar amount i would have been willing to pay had i seen their max bid any sooner than at 1/2 ...

Bump as i'd still be interested in one... however our work machinist made it sound easy to fix. its a .551 hole (14mm) with about .001" - .0015" journal clearance. i swagged the first ~.075" of the cap by about .006" so the .550" post no longer passes through. i think i figured out the o ring. it in...

This thing was suuuuper stuck on. i must of swagged the ID of the cap in pounding it out with a drift as i can no longer get the pin all the way though. it took a lot of force so I'm not surprised. the swagged area only accounts...

grab a multimeter and start check stuff. continuity, voltage etc. you'll buy so many unnecessary parts without doing this first. often a simple fix.

hahaha! the previous owner mixed up the speedo drive units! My dream had the clockwise drive and the hawk had the CCW. sweet! should be a simple swap. wonder what else they mixed up!?!?
