After listening to your video, it is most likely the starter clutch behind the generator rotor; broken springs or missing/stuck rollers. However, first pull the small cover on the end of the starter motor and confirm the sprocket and chain are rotating when the starter motor is spinning. There is a ...

Spargett,
FYI I just got my speedo/tach back from Foreign Speedo who did a rebuild on both. They charged me $80 for the speedo and $75 for the tach plus $22.50 for a "frame recondition". With shipping the total was $185.29 to Knoxville. The unit works great so far; I'm pleased.

Wilf; Absolutely the stopper arm goes BETWEEN the mount ears on the fork. The lock washer and nut should take up most all of the rest of the bolt length, but if they don't, add some washers as needed. I would even suggest adding washers to reduce any excessive slack between the ears, but the rod nee...

Bill, check out EBay Auction number 250534780872. The pictures of this wiring harness shows an ignition switch along with the other wiring goodies, and the switch will have the key number on it. A lock smith will be able to make keys from that number with the biggest difficulty being the source of b...

I believe that the thread is a 16mm, 1.50 pitch. I have a rear axle from a cb175 that fit. Then I measured it with a caliper. I ordered a 50mm long bolt through Fastenal. Hopefully, my measurements are correct. Mike69, can you verify the thread on the bolts you have? Ran into a delay on changing my...

Also before going into a motor rebuild, I'd suggest trying a new set of spark plugs. These bikes seem to be real sensitive to spark plugs working exactly right or they will not run/run right. If you have everything else set up pretty close, plugs are an easy thing to try and you will need them somed...

Thanks guys, appreciate all the help. I know my leak is behind the generator rotor and not around the clutch rod because of the location of the drip. There are drain holes on that side case between the clutch rod and the rotor and the drip is well forward of the drain holes. Tip for all if my memory...
