Based on my math calculations the numbers listed are nearly 8000 digits apart. "UP" to 200 would be normal. I still say if it is not a show bike then why sweat the small stuff. Rusty

Re: CL-77 "VIN" vs Engine numbers
I agree with D. Likely as not yours has had an engine replaced along the way. It really depends on what your intentions are with the bike. A show bike, then try to find a case with closer numbers then proceed from there. Just a nice rider then don't sweat the small stuff. My 2 cents FWIW, Rusty

Re: new scrambler project,, I'm back
D,
glad to hear from you and you are still among us.
So are you still doing the cl77's ?
I have been so busy with work I have not had much time to play with mine.
Had hoped to have mine going by time for Vashon but with the covid, not much hope for that event. Keep in touch, bro, Rusty

Re: Fuel tank painting
I have read somewhere that a small bead of super glue along the edge of the paint can prevent the fuel from getting under the paint.
I have heard of this a few times and thought I would throw it your way FWIW. Rusty

The last time I tried it you can resize your photos to 600x800 and they will stick or take them to photo bucket or such site and share them from there. Hope this helps. Rusty
