thanks for all the pointers. i am going to start all over on my carbs. the spark plugs were both new.
thanks to both of you. as i see it now, the left cylinder is getting too much fuel.

i followed Ed Moore's special tuning recipe and as well as teaked it by observing how the engine is firing. which is the bowl vent? is this visible outside of the carb?i see a bowl screw which i assume is for draining the bowl or this is the bowl vent? both are closed. by the way, when fully seated,...

1965 cb77 engine misfiring
hi all, new member. my 65 cb77 left cylinder is misfiring. done all the routine: valve clearance, timing, new plugs,carbs sync. i suspect it does not have good compression(i still need confirm with gage). any body knows a good mechanic in los angeles area who knows this bikes? i do not have the time...
