Are the gear ratios in a Scrambler tranny the same as a Superhawk? I have a factory CL72 manual that says: Crank to trans - 3.133 1st - 2.788 2nd - 1.661 3rd - 1.171 4th - 1.000 countershaft sprocket to rear wheel - 2.625 [this works out to a 16/42]. I recently have been told that the Keyster carb rebuild kits are ok for the gaskets and needle/seat only, that the pilot jet and main jet/needle do not work as well as the originals. Thankyou for the paint suggestion. I will check locally to see who carries DuPont or PPG.

I do like a clean garage, especially after not having one for 14 yrs.

Hello, I just purchased a 1966 CL77 3 weeks ago. I have taken it apart and started the restoration process.
