Trying to identify....what the heck is this?
This from my 66 CL77....my basket case:) These wires are coming from the coils back to where the battery would be. There is no battery in the bike. I am assuming the lower wire with the silver nut is for the positive battery connection. But I am not quite sure what the wires are doing that I am hold...

I actually filled it with nuts/bolts and wrapped it in towels and blankets then put it in my dryer for 30 minutes. It loosened up a lot of rust and such. The tank seems very thin walled as compared to other modern gas tanks. I will probably do that one more time. I did google some fuel tank repair s...

CL77 Fuel Tank questions.....
My basement find CL77 fuel tank is pretty bad, lots of rust and other issues, small holes, etc. I have cleaned it pretty good but I just think I should bite the bullet and try and find another one. So the question is....Will other tanks fit on my frame, a CA, CB, etc. And if not, any sources for eit...
