Gordon,
Thanks also for posting your photos, good stuff.
The cutoff dates are not strict, it is best to say that the 72/77 race in the "GP" classes, pre 1968. They race competitively against Ducati singles, Aermacchi singles, no CB350K bikes.

I know it was talked about in another thread, but I also made rollers in teflon and fiber reinforced Delrin. Both compressed and loosened in the center bore right away! The PVL rotor is mostly aluminum with magnet inserts, very lightweight. I had Dyna S's mounted on several CB350s, and have had a hi...

Teazer, thanks for the reply. I am using a stock primary chain in my 250, although I will consider a hard mounted teflon shoe to eliminate chain slack when I get the engine apart soon. Ken Miller has designed and makes the slider tensioners for the CB350K and CB750 that are sold by Todd henning Raci...

Gordon, thanks for the info. I have spoken to former long time CB77 racer John Early, he had used a KZ650 Wiseco big bore forged piston in the late 80's/ early 90's. Around 64mm. Here is another version of the CB350K RSC piston: http://i606.photobucket.com/albums/tt146/vintagestan/Shop%20Photos/P101...

Jerry, It is my honor. I've been a fan of your Honda's since your visit to Daytona with AHRMA 20-something years ago. You had a nice chat with my fellow CB77 racer friend John Early who was there. He was more than impressed by your kindness, generosity and technical brilliance! Progress on my rebuil...

Gordon, Thanks for the photos of the Asso, nice looking pistons, but I agree, they do look like the RSC? piston, (I'll post photo) with the large radius squish area. I have had great success with tuning the 350K's, and other bikes, by closely matching the head squish to the piston squish. Better com...

Thanks for the replies. Teazer, Yes, it seems that Les Barker want's you to extend the squish band in the head, (mill down the ridge step), to match the squish in his pistons, a very reasonable procedure, in my opinion. Makes for a very large squish band much like the CB350's. His price is near what...
