Hi folks, on the subject of clutch plates, i am rebuilding mine right now. I have the friction disks (yes, 5) and wanted to replace the plates. When i removed them, 4 were identical with 7 notches on the inner "ring", while the outer most disk (closer to the transmission) has no notches. Is that ok ...

I had done just that and the barrel would not come out and therefore the reason of my question. I thought there might be a trick to it. There a little groove to the top between the barrel and the frame: maybe one needed to push on something inside there.
