Re: 1965 ca160 keihin PKW 20 float problems
Almost certainly the float valve is leaking. Being new doesn't imply tat it must work, sadly. Maybe there is some small particle holding it open so blowing it out might help. If your old valve was working, why not replace the new one and see what happens?

Re: CB77 cam install issue
I didn't get my CB77 into the shed before the snow came but I did get its cover on. The snow is now up to the fuel tank and the tank has a pile about 2' high on top. It too is in the deep freeze. I live in southern Ontario so winters are quite variable. I'm enjoying this one.

Re: CB77 cam install issue
If there is a mistake to be made in assembling a CB77 I have made it. :-(
My bike survived this without a problem so I expect that yours did too, especially given that you were able to turn it over easily. If you can see inside then look for appropriate marks on the pistons. The valves are very ...

Re: Removing Rear Shocks on A 65 Dream Touring
If you mean a piston ring compressor, I can't see how that would help. Just looking at the shock I think that the chromed cover sits under the aluminum casting. You would need to take the spring pressure off the casting in order to unscrew it from the centre rod and you would do this by pulling down ...

Re: Removing Rear Shocks on A 65 Dream Touring
Original shocks can be hard to find and are almost certainly worn out. Yours aren't bad looking though and if they work, well you have something to ride.
Good luck with disassembling them.

Re: Removing Rear Shocks on A 65 Dream Touring
Most people end up making a compressor. Here's one that will give you an idea of what works.
