What year/model..........Color? I have several sets of shocks........most need TLC...........I also have a few top and bottom covers in various stages of repair...........and a guppy muffler that needs repair........or a set of shorty mufflers in fair shape........or used snuff-r-nots.........also h...

CB units are smaller diameter and the tree has no stud for the dampener............but they can be made to fit if you want a shorter (lower) front end and quicker steering with a smaller wheel.

Early stands from the CL72 models are shorter.............you may need a replacement unit from a '66 or '67 model...............also, depending on the sidewall profile of your tires, a low front and a tall rear may be the problem.

Weld the forward set of holes shut.............grind to flush.........paint...........it will fit the later brace.

If you are careful.........you could braze the holes or use J-B Weld

Nice shape with no metal fatigue...........choke and slide are in working condition.

That 'previous' sprocket was from a CL72 and was for a different size chain. If you are using the same chain.............that may be the cause.

Those items should be white zinc...............cad is for the coil holder and can be replicated by using yellow zinc over white zinc.
