Re: Kickstarter questions

"I plan to remove the passenger foot peg because it sometimes interferes with my foot when starting the bike and want to make sure that it is not the foot peg referred to in Loud Mouse's quote." Old thread; just got back on here. My ’67 CL77 “kit bike” was missing the rear pillion foot peg assemblie...

Re: CSM Experience

Took me a minute to figure out who DSS was since I’m not familiar with the initialisms of all the players yet. Appreciate it with regards to CSM. I’m probably working on a short ton with them, altho my wallet might have a different opinion once you throw in the shipping charges. My experience has be...

CSM Experience

As in Consolidated Motor Spares over in the Netherlands.

Any of you used them for hard to source items for your vintage CB, CL, CA, or ??? Hondas?

Good, bad, indifferent?

Re: CL77 305 Cam Chain Tensioner Roller

Never heard of the Cappellini kit (I don't get out much), but looks pricey, as does the Kaw Z1 toothed sprocket. The Z1 12055-002 lower roller (guide) from the same bike at ~$18 actually looks a little more promising. https://www.johnnysvintagemotorcycle.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/12055-002-cam-...

Re: CL77 305 Cam Chain Tensioner Roller

Thank you.

Believe we're good. A friend has my length of Delrin rod I turned some elliptical rollers from, and I think it's close to that. He's out of town right now, but will see when he gets back.

CL77 305 Cam Chain Tensioner Roller

If anyone happens to have a (CL77) 305 cam chain tensioner out, or one laying about, would you mind measuring the diameter of the roller? May come a time when I will want to turn a new one and I wanted to see if the material I have now has a large enough diameter. https://photos.smugmug.com/Motorcyc...

Re: Purpose of this?

Asked a local friend , and he replied: "I had to go look as I didn’t even think mine had it but I indeed do have it and there’s nothing installed in it. Looked back at the pictures I took before I completely disassembled it for rebuild and there was nothing attached pre-rebuild either. It’s a myster...
