I used to buy Land Rover parts from a guy that you could only communicate with via US mail. (30 years ago). He used to make post cards out of old Land Rover parts boxes. Pretty novel idea.
Maybe you could use that packaging for some creative idea such as that.

With continued hope, and some good detective work, along with a modicum of luck, you never know what might turn up. It might not be much more than closure however, as I found when I located my first bike after 40 years MIA. I owned a '66 Benelli 250 Sprite back in '72. It was my first bike, and the ...

So the other day I took a heat gun and scraper to the big slabs of bondo of the side of the gas tank. The good news is, the left side is intact, complete with emblem and knee pad brackets. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-AFvYZ5JNuCQ/UxTT25TQTNI/AAAAAAAABFs/tBbFlNd3kVQ/w677-h508-no/IMG_2278.JPG Th...

But just because it can be bought cheap doesn't mean it's a candidate for a bobber. 70's and 80's BMW airhea...

Funny you should mention going through a "phase" with a CL450. I did the same thing with one back in the late 70's. It was a "You-meet-the-nicest-people-on-a-Honda" blue and white, which didn't fit my image at all. So I painted tank and covers a hideous brown, added a 2 into 1 low pipe, cobra seat, ...
