Sorry, 1964 ca77 - I actually figured it out. The spark plug wires have caps that screw on, but they just crumbled and the wires pull straight out. Just gotta get new plug wires now.

I couldn't pull them off easy and when I tried using pliers, the covers just cracked and broke off.

Thanks you should know going in that there are quite a few parts on the dreams that will absolutely murder your budget. especially if you need to be correct. make a plan before you dismantel it, maybe it's ok as is. sometimes a lot of patina is better than halfway restored.
