Hi G, the replaceable bulb style units that I used to obtain from Candlepower here in the US were called 162mm (6-3/8") diameter. They did fit just a bit on the loose side in the CB72/77 stock rim. Do these 7" (177mm) units fit without rim issues? Regards, Chase
I believe that the CB360 brake drums are smaller than the CB77 (smaller spoke circle) so the rims would not be drilled the same. They might start with the same blank rim, though. LM, G, bail me out if I'm wrong..... Chase
Rick's still offers the stator and rectifier/regulator kit. However, you must send him your stator assembly with housing, so that he can properly center the new stator coils over the rotor for best charging. Regards, Chase
Compression should be tested with the throttle wide open, or the carburetors removed. A cold reading of 150 should be fine. Did you check the valve lash clearances first? Regards, Chase
Make sure that the adjustable rod connected to the shift lever is perpendicular to the arm that goes on the splined shift to the trans. It could just be a poor leverage issue. Regards, Chase
