after wasting a ton of money on flooded wet cell batteries that never lasted for more than a few months, I began my search for a GEL or ASM maintenance free battery for my CL77. Well, they don't make them. So I figured that someone has already done this research and I could just find it on the H305 ...

Well then that explains the mystery. The replacement cable I have that doesn't have the knob must be for a 67 CL77 then. I have the wrong part. BUT........I scrounged a clutch adjustment knob with a slot in it from my CB750 parts bucket that threads in nice. NOt stock but it looks like it will work....

Thanks for the picture. A slot in the knob is what I would have expected. My CB750's clutch adjustment knobs have the slot in them...BUT the CL77 clutch adjustment knob is solid, no slot. How could that be? Did the cable come with the adjust knob already install in the early years? Don't know. Looks...

What is the correct length clutch cable for a 1966 CL77. Cables appear to come in at least 2 lengths. I route my cable from the handle bar down in front of the triple beneath the tank to the opposite side to the clutch basket. thanks, Keith

I'm almost finished but my 1966 CL77 restoration took another set back. After installing a NOS fender, I realized that my new 100/90 front tire wouldn't clear the inside of the fender stay. The 100/90 equates to about a 3.75 inch and stock is listed as a 3.00. So I will need to buy a new front tire....

I recently rechromed the exhaust pipes of my CL77 Scrambler. Does anyone know of any technique to prevent yellowing of the pipes as they exit the engine block? Yes, I do want to ride the bike this summers. Thanks!
