Thanks for the help! Can anyone tell me how I can identify the difference between the different types of speedometer drives?

I have a '66 CB77 and I've been trying to fix the speedometer but just realized today that the cable spins counter-clockwise but the speedometer only registers when the cable is spinning clockwise (I hooked a piece of old speedometer cable into a powerdrill and spun the speedo).
