I have not used one like this on these bikes. Usually they have only 4 wires one for +, one for -, and 2 for the stator and you splice the yellow and pink together for one and the brown for the..... Thanks, Kevin. That 3rd yellow wire has me stumped. I just don't know how or where to connect it to ...

Charlie's Place Rectifier/Regulator Wiring

I've purchased a rectifier/regulator from Charlie's Place and hope that those of you that have done the same can give me some wiring advice. There are 5 wires to the unit, 3 yellow, 1 red and 1 green. The directions state that red goes to battery pos., green to battery neg. That part is easy enough....

It does look rather home-made, but it was chromed at some point in its life. It was covered in grease & grime, so I'm thinking it was located in the vicinity of the chain.
