Just been catching up on your progress, As suggested previously a CB200 bung will fit straight in at the end of your selector drum, I have the part number somewhere if it helps., may even have a spare bung. Nice work, what size are the gearbox / rear sprockets, the front looks bigger than standard w...

You could try hiding a solid state bridge rectifier like this, I did this on my Cb77 a couple of tears ago and it's been mine. The plates of the donor rectifier obviously help with heat dissipation.

Thanks for the images, they have given me another avenue to think about, I have a sixties UK made carrier and (heavy) top box, it looks pretty much like the one on the Pirsing bike but was originally supplied with an inverted U shaped bracket that sat on the rear fender. I don't like that idea so my...

Pretty sure it's not an OEM part despite the Honda wrapping paper, it certainly won't contribute significantly to engine cooling since the RHS cover isn't on the 'hot' side of the engine anyway.

Something comes to mind about a fool and his money, but I suppose whatever floats your boat!

Evening Graham,

Yes I have a couple of those too, they work as well as anything I've come across.

Gave the CL an outing this morning, a bit chilly (4 c) but had a good run into the Peak District for lunch about 70 miles in all!

Not trying to be funny here but surely if you want to improve the performance of a CA77 you should be looking for a CB77?. With a single 22mm carb, the CA is never going to fly, even with a 347cc kit fitted, Just my .02p worth, must admit to never having owned a C77 although I'd like one. My first b...

Sorry to start off with a negative, your picture just came through and I'm afraid the front wheel isn't the right one for a CB77, at least the brake plate isn't, can't really see the hub. On a more positive note though, someone else I know of has just started a similar project here in the UK. He has...
