Thanks for responding, maybe this should start off a separate subject. Any chance of a picture or two showing your fixing method. In theory the rear fender, being curved in both directions should be quite strong but experience shows it isn't the ideal place to fix a carrier. I suppose once you have ...

I must have fork legs on the brain at the moment as I'm trying to sort out a problem for someone trying to match an early fork tube with a later case. Didn't spot the date on the post, only the subject. BTW Any chance you have an early type LH lower case available if we can't find one here in the UK...
