Here’s my experience for what it’s worth. I have had 2 cb77s, one from 1967 to 1970 and one from 1980 to now. Both clutches would slip a bit at full throttle. This would be worst after long term storage, made better by riding it I imagined I was burning off a glaze. All this is using automobile oil....
OK, I took a better look. see IMG_2501. I reversed the circlip holding the clutch onto the transmission mainshaft, in case it was "dished" causing axial play. There was still some play.
