Control lever rubber tips

Anyone have a source for the little rubber end caps fitted on late CL72 and 77 clutch and brake levers?
Part number is 53180 028 670 and they were used on bikes from Frame no CL77- 1033482 to the end of production, along with control lever featuring a machined flat across the face of the ball end.

This part is quite highly stressed and made from a crap aluminium alloy so your failure certainly isn't unique. It's possible (easy) to assemble the adjuster 180 degrees from where it should be in which case the grease doesn't get through properly when you grease the nipple and this wouldn't have he...

Sorry, just a simple typing error, should have checked before I hit 'Submit' button. Standard front is of course 2.75" x 18", actually I've never seen a 2.27" tyre.

I've used these as well, great tyres. Standard sizes are best. 2.27" front and 3.00" rear

Yes, the kick start stopper bolt is in the LH crankcase lower half and actually acts as the stopper when the kickstart is returned by spring tension to it's home position, at that point the stopper bolt disengages the ratchet mechanism and allows the gearbox to rotate normally without the kickstart....
