Check the Dog Bone wrench and see if the big end will remove the valve covers. Looks to me that this may be a DREAM kit with the extra large wrench. I just picked up a tool kit which I believe is correct for my 67 Scrambler. What is your opinion?

I don't remember just what tools were in the '67 Scramblers' tool kit. Does anyone have a list of the originally supplied tools? Also, where can I find a spanner wrench to adjust the shocks?

Hello. I just finished a 1967 CL77 rider resto. I have not got all the bugs worked out yet, but I would love to meet other hobbiests in the area. I live in Lake Elsinore.

Hello Carl. It can be one or two gears that are bad. You will probably have to split the engine to find out. It's not necessary to remove the cylinders and head tp get to the gears. I remove the bottom case and the gears are right there. You may want to look at the shift forks and shift drum roller...

Third gear skiping

Just finished a resto '67 CL77. It does not fully engage third gear and "skips" (tries to engage) so I just go to fourth. Is the most likely problem the Gear Cotters? Wish I knew about this forum when I was deep into the resto. Carl
