Kevin at scramblercycle.com has been a good source for the Heidenaus. His site shows them to be currently out of stock, but there's a good image of them on there. Very similar to the original tires, as were the now-discontinued Cheng Shins. Regards, Chase

Avon offers their StreetRunner series tires in 2.75-18 front, and 3.00-18 universal tread configurations. In metric sizes. I have Avon RoadRider 90/90-18 front, and 100/90-18 rear tires on my 1962 cafe' CB77. These are a bit oversize, and the front has to be deflated to fit between the front fender ...

Disco Volante Moto in the UK has some very nice pieces machined from billet. Seems to be a hardened T6 type aluminum to resisting galling in the head, and the hex is a bit taller than standard for better wrench/socket engagement. Available in both the tapered and domed configurations. Regards, Chase

Get out the magnifying glass, and study the cable itself. If the wire strands appear to go in the direction of a standard right hand bolt, you should be good. Regards, Chase

Had the incorrect (early) cable on my 1966 CB77 when I first finished the project. Yes, there was a squealing noise and a jerky needle. Took longer to sort than I'd like to admit. Most of the new repro cables I've found recently are for the later clockwise version needle. The cable housings are the ...

Back in the day, if you had non-repairable frame damage, the replacement bare frame ordered from your dealer would not have a serial number stamped on it. The dealer should have requested your damaged frame for him to dispose of, and then would stamp the same serial number on the new piece, before r...
