Also do not be tempted to fit an ‘O’ring chain, it will not fit around the gearbox sprocket. I don’t know where to find the parts my sprocket was the last one in stock. Thanks for this. I was thinking of getting one for my Honda because my Suzuki 650 VStrom has an O-ring chain and I really like it....

My CB77 is basically a mix of part from different models so my question is: Can it be that some parts for the starter are mixed up with some other model? How do detect which is not correct? There's nothing like a project like this to help you realise how many parts there are in a motorcycle. And, yours is missing some!

I'm wrapping up a CB77 which needed a lot of parts and a lot of restoration on the ones that I kept. All the best. I'll watch your progress on (gag) YouTube.

Is this perhaps a cable with the length suitable for the earlier flat handlebar on a bike with the later midrise handlebar that requires longer cables?
