All the coils I have run across of that era have the wire on the coil end "potted" in. Usually epoxy, you can tell by the off clear or tan or grey color where the wire goes into the coil itself. Trying to get carb on the right bike. Carb is round bowl design, 22mm dia., no drain screw and C77B (not CB77) stamped on flange. My CA72 is 63' ser # 311568, my CA77 is 64' ser # 102241.
