Yes, you must use the type 1 or 180 deg rotor. Just make sure the TDC mark lines up with stator when piston is at top. And check the total timing with a strobe timing light. The angle issue is really no big deal. Just protect the chrome well ( hard plactic ) or soft jaws in the good ole vise....twist alittle then test fit....the chrome won't pop I've done 50+ with no problem. Other wise the Honda quality is excellent. Tim The good news is that a 8mmx1.25 helicoil treads...
