Front fork disassembly

Hello all, Working to disassemble the front forks on a 1962 CB77. After reading numerous posts I finally built a tool to unscrew chrome fork seal, and after a week of soaking in penetrating fluid got it off. Now I can't figure out how to get fork piston off. Mine appears to be attached by 3 knock pi...

Kick starter gears

A couple of questions about the kick starter gears. I have a 1962 CB77 I am slowly (very slowly) trying to restore. Since the splines on my kick starter gear are very damaged I thought I would just delete the kick starter and rely on the starter motor. Do I need to install the kick starter gear and ...

Carb issues - flange and jet needle

Moving onto the carbs on my never ending engine rebuild (cb77E-212739) I put the flange onto a surface plate and it is no where near flat. I can get a 0.50 mm feeler gauge under one side. Is it ok to remove this much material to get the flange flat? Also my needles are part number keihin 24301 (note...
