Spark advance springs

I installed a new set of spark advanced springs on cam sprocket. The advance arms have some play before the springs pick up. Is this normal? Thanks for any info.

Thanks Brewsky. I have seen posts about using vinegar to clean the carb bodies. What do you recommend for the brass parts?

Carb rebuild

I have seen a lot of discussion on the quality issues of various carb rebuild kits, specifically with regards to Keyster. What should I be looking for while inspecting my carb parts? How does one know if the jet needle and jets need replacing? If not Keyster, then what? My carbs have been sitting fo...

Thanks for the advice. Using a digital micrometer I picked at an auto supply store. I will probably look for some new ones given how close to the limit.

Rocker arm inner diameter

My rocker arm inner diameters are all measuring between 0.515 and 0.516 inches. My clymer Honda repair manual states this is out of spec. Does anyone have any perspective on whether I should replace these or can I live with these. Thanks for any advice.
