Loud Mouse, it's good to see you are still on here. You walked me through a carb issue I was having years ago on a CA77. I just went out and looked at the CP and it has a points cover that reads "type 1" so, I'll have to count the coils a little later. On a side note, I also noticed a greese nipple ...

I found a list of VINs on CMSNL that included CP77 numbers. Turns out mine is actually a 1964 and it's a "type 2" whatever that means.

I ended up going with the Hedenau. Thanks for the help.
